It surprises me but is true. Today was the last day for classes of fifth semester in B.Tech. I was a little busy during the last one week with last moment submission of assignments, a test and my mini project (group) in Mechatronics. But today morning as everything was done and I was coming back after presenting our team's mini project (Haptic Arm) I felt it. It is almost over. My fifth semester in Mechanical Engineering is going to get over after the exams which are coming up (starting on Monday).
In these five months of time away from home I learnt few new things and gained some good experience, turned some acquaintances into really good friends, learnt a lot about myself and my interests thanks to a few dilemma which I had just before the beginning of the semester and, something worth remembering, boarded a flight for the first time (to go to my cousin's marriage).
Vivek and me worked like probably never before to run our remote controlled car at Shaastra 2010 ( sad that it didn't work out properly at the end, but yeah we learnt a lot of things) and again at Engineer 2010 ( this time there was a boat too but both failed before the competition itself).
The semester was full of presentations and seminars other than the regular assignments and tests. I gained a few new names (other than Rules Ramanujan from my first year and Audi from my second year) like Saare Auditya (pronounce as Audit Ya) Raman for taking two elective courses extra, and the name Kuchi or Kuchi Baatla also gained usage thanks to the wing in which I stay with my fellow Mechies (my classmates). Actually it is Kuchibhatla, my surname, and they made it Kuchi baatla :D Can't help it :P :P :P Of course the enjoyment with the gult gang was always there...
well i don't know how to conclude this one ...the clock keeps ticking... and this sem has also come to an end... i can say just one thing ... thanks to all and the almighty I had another very enjoyable and memorable semester at NITK.
Wishing all NITKians Best of luck for the coming sem exams
Cheers
Aditya
Don't try to arrive at anything from the name... It is the name of a movie in Telugu (my mother-tongue) and I like that word very much. So instead of thinking seriously about a title I just kept it like that... Hope you will like reading my blog... cheers Aditya

13 November Dilemma?
I wonder if it happens only with me or with every one in this world. Just today morning at around 4 am chatting with an old friend I was feeling soooo happy... I thought that joyous mood will be enough for me to finish my exams which are coming up and then by the end of the day it is all changed. I am feeling so depressed that too without the knowledge of the reason. Till afternoon I was perfectly fine and ... and... and .. I don't know what happened and I start feeling all negative things. I had a long chat till now with another friend of mine who was trying in all possible ways to cheer me up but then I don't see anything working because I am still in that same mood.Am I feeling home sick. I don't know why I suddenly started feeling so lonely from today evening. Is it wrong to expect a call from at least .. at the very least one friend who hasn't talked to me for a long time... any one friend. Does this world make people so busy that they can't make time once in month to call a friend or a relative.Yeah may be I demand too much.Sorry guys. May be I still don't understand the definition of Life and Living and I thought I have grown up. LoL :P . I think I should go back to kindergarten .. may be after another 18 years I will be able to realise what I am supposed to do now. Wait a sec . what am I talking. Oh my God!!! I started bulbing* again. Something actually has happened to me. Something is seriously wrong with me. I am being told that I am thinking too much. Is it just that much. But how do I stop thinking when something wrong is going on. Leave things to happen the way they are happening, even if wrong... just get your thing out of it.. don't even bother what happens afterward. Is it the way one should live... Okay now I am in such a huge dilemma that not even the words are coming out properly. Sorry guys I think it is better I put a stop here else I may keep blabbering some non sense.
Good Night
Aditya
P.S. Sorry for the trouble of making you read this if you didn't like it
* Bulbing is a word in NITK lingo and means.. confused and doing random things with no results or use

5 November Happy Diwali
It has been a month since I wrote a blog entry. You can say I was a little busy because of a couple of assignments, Engineer (my college's technical festival) and few other things. Many a times during this month I used to get depressed about a lot of things. At times I felt I should write those things as a blog entry but wasn't really sure about it so I just dropped the idea at that time and I didn't come out of the mood I didn't use to get any good topic to write on. Well just in case you grew curious about what those topics were let me tell you they were all lame and lousy topics about my understanding of the people, the system, and myself. After sometime I came out of all that but I keep visiting those dilemma once in a while (most recent was yesterday night :D). By the way, in spite of going through these things (keep my assignments and tests apart) I watched completely the fillers between the stories of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, watched code geass season one and recently watched the episodes from Jiraiya fighting with Pain till the talk between naruto and nagato after their fight in Naruto Shippuden. May be some time in future I will post something on how much I get influenced (excited and inspired) because of this anime.
Keeping all those things apart I wish all of you a very Happy and Safe Deepavali. As I type I recollect the way my teachers used to tell me about this festival when I was in my primary school... " Deepavali ka arth hai deepon ki aavali yaani pankthi jab Sri Ram yudh mein Raavan ka samhar karke Sita maatha aur bhai Laxman ke saath ayodhya laute the thab ayodhyavaasiyo ne is khushi mein deepon se apne gharon ko sajaaya tha......" ["Deepavali means an array of lights and was first celebrated by people in Ayodhya to express their joy on the return of Lord Rama along with wife Sita and Brother Laxman after defeating Raavan in a battle"]. I also remember how I used to come across an essay on Deepavali umpteen number times.. there was one even in Sanskrit... Those days were great. Deepavali not just brings in happiness and joy with all those crackers, new dresses and sweets but also brings back lots of sweet memories..... isn't it ............
For some random reason if you are not able to burn crackers tonight then lie down on the rooftop just like me look at the glow in the sky and go back into your sweet sweet memories
Let this Diwali also be as good as those you have celebrated earlier
Once again wishing you all a happy diwali....
